Principal of MinistryCPA

Corey advises individuals and organizations as they steward the financial resources entrusted to them. He assists our clients to make decisions with understanding of both short- and long-term income tax and investment ramifications. Church, Christian organization and business leaders rely on his expertise in matters of employee compensation, accounting integrity and security, and strategic decision-making.

Corey served as the Dean of the School of Business at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin from 1993 until his retirement in 2018. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Management Science.

Staff Accountant

Marissa joined MinistryCPA in 2017 after graduating from Maranatha Baptist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. Throughout her time at Maranatha, she realized her love for accounting and for serving other people. She loves being able to pursue both as a staff accountant. Marissa also manages MinistryCPA’s growing Q&A blog.

Marissa has experience working in a variety of ministries. Her time in California and Wisconsin based nonprofits has prepared her well to serve church and ministry personnel.

Staff Accountant

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting Management, Tim joined the team at MinistryCPA in 2017.

Tim’s past professional experience includes public accounting tax preparation for both businesses and individuals as well as providing virtual back office services. In addition to his public accounting experience, Tim spent eight years serving in multiple finance and accounting positions at Non-Profit educational organizations. He especially enjoys working with customers to setup, troubleshoot, and manage their Quickbooks software to maximize their company’s potential.

Stephanie aids our clients in matters of compliance with government reporting and by responding cheerfully and promptly to the often time-sensitive needs of those we serve.
